My Great Redeemer - Vineyard

My great redeemer
My saving Lord
I am so grateful
For your sacrifice
And the life you've given me
What perfect love I've found
Here in your nail pierced hands
Forgiveness flowing out
And wounds that set me free
Jesus, my redeemer
God's perfect plan
I am so grateful
You bore my shame as yours
And set the sinner free

Summer Has Come To An End

Retreat
Was last week it was ok.

Leaders Trip To Great America
Wow it was fun. I first hung with Ivy, Stephanie, and Bailey we rode Invertigo, Vertex, Grizzly, Demon (2), and then I split and went with Jerry and Myron to ride Drop Zone. Wow that was my first time..It was actually kind of cool. Then went on Psycomouse and this spinny one. Man Melanie and Tiffany just scream...Shessh...And then the spinny one I rode with Stan and I was just kind of hitting him haha he was on the right side. Then had lunch I had some sushi off of Tiffany, and some hard chicken and fries off of Wendy, Melanie, and Myron. Oh and a lemonade icy.

Then we went on the rafting ride. Wow all the girls were in one..Oh well..sigh..Jen got very wet. Then we went to see SpongeBob!!! My hero! heehee...

Then we went on Grizzly again. I sat with Jerry. Fun ride..but my back always seems to get ichy.

Saturday
I stayed over at Jen's. Woke up 10 mins before 9AM. Went to get breakfast...Man dumb Jamba Juice. Went back to Jen's Mackenzie and Caleb came over. I played and watched Space Jam. Calebs sooo fun to play with! He even likes to play on the computer oh and golf! Wooo....Jen was watchng Mackenzie heehee...

Then went to Giants vs Mets game. We got there 5th inning before we stopped by McD's and also Muni was running you know...slow might I say. The got all the way to the 12th inning. It was worth it...I kind of tired out.

Then we walked around downtown for awhile. Nothing really..All the time when I want to go shopping, I always think while at the store do I really need it...And usually it's no..So I'm like ok...no more buying or shopping...Kind of sad.

Then went to dinner with Cal, Mimi, Caleb, Mackenzie, Toby, Kathy, Johnny, Bailey, Joey, and Jen. Tofu and rice! Yeah!!!

Then my dad was out til late at a wedding with someone....so I stayed at Jen's again.

Happy Birthday
Ivy, Jerry, David

Now What

Summer is over and I'm worried. Worried of the goals or the things that I want to achieve will go, haywire. Well I guess waking up early is getting me more than ready for school. Eatting is well what you call swallowing. And all I have to say is I miss my daycamp kids. Oh and I finally get to watch the olympics! Awesome! Ok I'm TV deprived, but all good.

What's wrong with me....??? Ok...I'm kind of all yeah..I dunno...I'm worried, tired, scared, ready, etc..Wow...I'm a lot.

Ok so lets just give up summer and just have a really good school year.

Goals

I set goals for my life every year for school. The tough part is do I ever follow through with those goals? I guess in time it's hard to say I even try.

This year I need to go and try hard and suceed.

You are Building a Mystery

You
are Building a Mystery

You hide your true emotions and feelings for fear of rejection.
Unfortunately, your cold façade has isolated you from those who care
most about you.

Hi Michelle:

I am doing OK. I have been busy trying to fix this e-gov system
that is still having problems, whose problems coincided with
thanksgiving a year ago. I am still working in SF, same place,
same number. I also taught strategic management for awhile at
Hayward State. I am in between quarters now -- not sure if there
will be any monies for my position there. I think I have to
devote some time on my dissertation. I delayed doing any work on
it.

Stephen Wong (who you met at the church camp) asked about you a
few weeks back. He wants to go bike riding in the pennisula; but
I told him my heart was not into yet to venture there yet.
Likely, I will take him up on the offer this saturday as
Christina will be in SF to watch John Q at the Metreon with her
church fellowship. I promised Stephen I would consider it.
Because the weather looks nice, it looks like a weekend of
biking. I had been doing some indoor cycling at the 24hr
Sporting Club in San Ramon; but they kicked me out last night
when they realized that my 24hr Fitness membership wasnt valid
there.

Reverend Kan also asked about you a few months ago; as did Jeff
Liu (the optometrist).

Christina has grown more and has become much more mature now.
She can even wear my pants now. We have been snow boarding the
past weekends. She will celebrate her birthday this year at
South Lake Tahoe with her church fellowship. She also stopped
visiting her grandparents last May. It shocked the heck out of
me when she told me she didnt want to see them anymore. She
likes the bay area a lot, especially the church in SF chinatown.
Two college-aged girls have taken the role of big sister to help
her. She was baptised in January at a baptist church in
Sacramento that we used to attend. Somehow she understands the
differences between methodists and baptists. You would have been
proud of her; she gave an awesome testimony and did a violin
solo. A dear brother warned me, you better watch out she is
going to become a beautiful woman and all these boys are going to
end up chasing her. Maybe you can see the VCD on it whenever I
finish editing it.

I am getting more active in the church in SF. I will be
attending the BASS conference next week in Castro Valley and a
church career conference in Santa Cruz. I am looking forward to
the conference in Santa Cruz as its focus is on a bible character
I can relate to (Job). Job was a righteous man who had lost
everything -- his assets, his health, his wife, and children; but
Job prevailed and was richly rewarded for his perservence.

I have been traveling some recently. I am still contemplating
where to visit this easter break. Christina wants to go to
either Hawaii or Paris. I am thinking more the far east or
Canada. May have to flip the coin on this one.

In all, I am coping the best I can. It is difficult for me to
develop much encouragement and confidence. I have been playing
encourager and mentor for so long -- to students, to my staff, to
Christina, and to my church children that I have become so
emotionally drained. I keep to myself; but am inspired and
hopeful.

Sincerely yours,

Benny

Wow.....

My inner child is one year old today
My inner child is one year old!

Everything is new to me. I like watching the world
go by around me, and I don't sweat the small
stuff--or the large stuff, either. Just so long
as I stay warm and safe and dry, life's pretty
good.
