Prayers for Summer Break
Father,
This summer will be
full of new experiences for me:
-summer school
-golf
-softball
-braces
-daycamp
-exciting mission trips
-vacations
-relaxation
-challenges.
Grow me, stretch me
through whatever we do,
and through wherever I go,
so that I'll end the summer
just a little more like you.
Lord,
What about you and me?
I don't want to
forget you just because
I'm off my normal school-year routine.
Keep close to me, Lord,
and remind me that my relationship
with you should never take a break.
